Trustworthy, Expertise, Creativity and Technical Perfection

I was born in 1969 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where I have lived ever since. After studying photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and gaining exceptional practical experience at Madame Tussaud’s, I worked for various photographers for a period of six years. I started working as a professional photographer in 1988, and in 1995 I started my own photo studio in the centre of Amsterdam.

Nowadays, I mostly work for international advertising agencies and advertisers, but also for companies, large, mid-size and even small. My clients include publishers, magazines, newspapers and governments. The photographs I make can be of anything and shot anywhere - in a studio or on location anywhere around the world.

What I most like about my work is the diversity. My clients contact me for diverse projects, from global campaigns to local ads. Trustworthy, expertise, creativity and technical perfection is my way of working. Customer focus and loyalty is of utmost importance to me.

Am I specialized in a certain type of photography? Yes and no. The work I make is used in all kind of areas. Being versatile can be a specialization too. My portfolio has the following sections:

Art projects

My work is sold in galleries and I have exhibitions on a regular basis. The work I have made in co-operation with Kunstfabriek is well known and has been received well. Some of my work is also for sale via Internet.
